We cordially invite you to the premier theatrical event of the season from the Theater of Friends! Join us for the debut of the wildly funny Ukrainian comedy Mina Mazailo at De Landing Theater.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. In the hall, there will be a Ukrainian fair. You can also enjoy Ukrainian delicacies and drinks. The bar will be open until the end of the event.

About the play
Mina Mazailo is a story about a Kharkiv civil servant who feels a strong sense of inferiority and believes that all his life's failures are due to his surname. He dreams of changing it to a more "prestigious" one and convenes a family council for this purpose. This play, nearly 100 years old, written by the renowned Ukrainian playwright Mykola Kulish, remains relevant even today. The issues and questions it raises continue to resonate in our times.

Mina Mazailo is a tragicomic story with an intermission filled with sharp jokes and biting satire on everyday life. The acute social themes and perceptive character portrayals make this performance interesting and unforgettable.
