De multidisciplinaire, multimedia performance S.O.L.O. toont een leven. Elk besluit, elke mislukking, elk succes op elk tijdstip vormt ons. Maar we ervaren ze alleen, zelfs als we omringd zijn door mensen. S.O.L.O.

Je hebt van die lichamen die zo lenig en beweeglijk zijn, dat zij zich in alle richtingen laten plooien. Grondacrobatiek, luchtacrobatiek, trampoline, schoonspringen… Vraag het aan de in Australië geboren gymnast Simon-James Reynolds en hij doet het met de vingers in de neus.

Situations of Ones Life’s Obsessions (S.O.L.O.) is het persoonlijke verhaal van deze performer verpakt in een adembenemende multimediale voorstelling. Het gaat niet alleen over zijn leven, maar ook over de 'obsessies en herinneringen die we allemaal hebben.'

Over Simon-James Reynolds
Simon-James Reynolds is een in Australië geboren gymnast en circusartiest, die al meer dan vijftien jaar traint op internationaal wedstrijdniveau in turnen, dans en trampolinespringen. Simon-James woont momenteel in België en maakt deel uit van Sur Mesure, een Gents collectief van muzikanten, instrumentenbouwers, houtbewerkers en circusartiesten.
